Climate Action is excited to announce our new Transition Summits - a series of 2-day virtual events focusing on 5 key sector transitions: Hydrogen, Industry, Transport and Energy.

Earlier this year in March 2020, we launched the Roadmap to COP26 in response to the pandemic and the subsequent delay of the UN Climate Change Conference.

The Roadmap will continue throughout 2021, starting with the Transition Summits, a series of 2-day virtual events focussing on 5 key sector transitions: Hydrogen, Industry, Transport, Energy and Cities.

To date, we have engaged over 40,000 people and in 2021 we will be increasing this momentum as we move towards COP26 in November, the most important climate meeting since the historic Paris Agreement.

Hydrogen!

First up, hydrogen. For many, the transition to a hydrogen-based economy holds the key to decarbonisation across multiple sectors. But as governments set out ambitious hydrogen strategies, deeper public-private partnerships and new investment is required to make the hydrogen hype a reality.

The Hydrogen Transition Summit will take place on the 23rd and 25th February with 4 deep-dive sessions on how hydrogen will play a critical role in the Energy Transition.

From energy to transport to industry, hydrogen will be vital if we are to meet 2030 climate goals and beyond. Climate Action’s dedicated Hydrogen event will explore what actions need to be taken and by who, in order to make the Hydrogen Economy a reality.
