Our intent

WAREMA aims to be a role model for an ecological approach. Therefore, we work tirelessly to improve environmental and health protection and the work safety of our employees.

WAREMA makes an important ecological contribution by applying and continuously improving modern processing methods and technologies. An example is the chrome-free pretreatment of our products. This method makes it possible to keep the powder-coating processes free of toxic substances while still ensuring corrosion resistance of the aluminium parts. This benefits the environment, customers and employees.

Measures

At WAREMA, a variety of measures is taken to protect the environment. Some examples:
We have made it our mission to reduce resource consumption during production by minimising off cuts. The avoidance, reduction and separation of waste, and the use of recycling wherever possible, play an important role in our processes.

Various changes in our heating and lighting systems have reduced energy consumption considerably. For example, the use of electronic ballasts and the associated daylight-dependent dimming of lights has resulted in energy savings of 80% and improved the working atmosphere for employees.
