Municipal waste to energy solutions

Waternet and The Waste and Energy Company (AEB), public organisations City of Amsterdam, participated in Climate Action’s Expo alongside UNEP's First Universal Session of the Governing Council/ Global Ministerial Environment Forum (GMEF). AEB generates energy from municipal solid waste and Waternet is the public water cycle utility of Amsterdam. The company showcased their innovations in the company of Environment and Energy Ministers from over 140 countries.
