The World Green Summit www.wgsummit.com (WGS), 20 June, 2012 in Rio de Janeiro, is the business, finance and government forum during the high-level segment of Rio+20. With more than 500 CEOs, financiers, and dignitaries, this inaugural event aims to be an annual high-level summit progressing sustainable development and the global green economy, by engaging business, finance, government and other leaders to find solutions for industries, cities, regions and nations.

Headline speakers include: Sir Richard Branson, Founder, Virgin Group & Virgin Unite; Ted Turner, Chairman, United Nations Foundation; Helle Thorning-Schmidt, Prime Minister of Denmark; Connie Hedegaard, EU Commissioner for Climate Action and many more global leaders.
